User Agreement (V1.1)


PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS.

This platform (“Platform”) is provided by an independent individual developer (the “Developer”) as a technology service for user-to-user interactions.

The Developer is not a party to any transaction conducted on the Platform.

1. Platform Role

  • The Platform is a passive intermediary that allows users to connect.
  • The Developer:
  • Does not sell, supply, or own any listed items
  • Is not an agent, partner, or representative of any user
  • Does not control or guarantee any transaction

All transactions are strictly between users.

2. No Verification / No Endorsement

The Developer:

  • Does not verify identities, listings, or licences
  • Does not guarantee:
  • Product quality
  • Legality
  • Accuracy of descriptions

Any reliance on content is entirely at your own risk.

3. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws in Singapore
  • Ensure your listings and activities are lawful
  • Be fully responsible for:
  • Products/services
  • Delivery and payment
  • Customer disputes

4. Prohibited Use

You must not:

  • List illegal or regulated goods without licence
  • Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content
  • Use the Platform for fraud or unlawful activities

The Developer may:

  • Remove content or accounts at any time without notice
  • Report users to authorities

5. Transactions and Disputes

  • The Developer is not involved in transactions
  • The Developer does not handle payments, refunds, or disputes
  • All disputes must be resolved directly between users

6. Intellectual Property

You are solely responsible for all content you upload.

The Developer:

  • Does not monitor all content
  • Is not liable for any infringement by users

7. Personal Data (Important for Singapore)

By using the Platform, you:

  • Consent to sharing necessary contact details with other users
  • Acknowledge that the Developer does not control how users use your data

You agree not to misuse others’ personal data.

(You should still create a separate Privacy Policy to align with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.)

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”.

The Developer makes no representations or warranties, including:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for purpose
  • Non-infringement

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Developer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claims, including:
  • Transaction disputes
  • Fraud or scams
  • Product defects
  • Total liability is limited to:
  • S$0, or
  • If not enforceable, S$50 maximum

10. Indemnity (Your strongest protection)

You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless the Developer against:

  • Any claims from other users
  • Legal actions, fines, or penalties
  • Losses arising from:
  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your breach of laws
  • Your listings or transactions

11. Suspension / Termination

The Developer may:

  • Suspend or terminate access at any time
  • Remove content without explanation

No liability will arise from such actions.

12. Modifications

The Developer may update these terms at any time.

Continued use = acceptance of updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
